The film
Gunday under the Yasraj Films banner kicks-off with the plot of the making of
Bangladesh. Along with the violence and the horror of the early 70s prevalent
in Bengal, the film brings in the story set during the formation of the new
country. It is about two young boys who have suffered losses and are left with
themselves and moved into Calcutta as refugees.
