We Indians, the Hindus of this country worship Maa Ganga. For every
small or special or religious occasion we need Ganga Jal to sprinkle all
around. The sprinkle of this holy water of the Ganges seems like it is
purifying the place. That’s the thought that has been in the minds and still is
there.
With the General Elections being over and a new government coming at the Center, now it is the time for Maa Ganga to be made clean. The
new government under the leadership of Mr. Narendra Modi is taking up this
project. So much dirt and pollutants have been allowed to flow into the water
of the flowing Ganga. The river has become choked with all the solid and liquid
wastes coming into it. Even its waters are polluted.
The previous government never once thought about it and why should they?
How many of them have thought about the sanctity of this great river of India.
All they wanted power at any cost and their own luxury. They never also once
thought of looking back at the great heritage this country has and how to
preserve them. Selfish lot, all the time talking about being Secular which in
itself does not attach any meaning to a common man of this country.
Anyway, there is no need to cry over spilt milk. Time to make redress
and in this I find most of the people of this great country likes to share and
take care to see our country progress and rise to the top.
With power trusted on this new government now every Hindu can gleefully
say what religion he/she is practising without being said to be communal.
With the Ganga being cleaned up this will be a great step to move
forward.
It has been rightly said, “Aache din aane wale hain”.
But I will say, “Aache din aa chuke hain”.
